About the position
The Early Career Environmental Scientist or Geologist will support a variety of multidisciplinary environmental projects in the Albuquerque, NM office. This role involves assisting in planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases for projects related to soil, sediment, and groundwater investigations, feasibility studies, site characterizations, and remedial design and action support.
Responsibilities
• Assist in planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases for environmental projects.
,
• Conduct soil, sediment, and groundwater remedial investigations.
,
• Support feasibility studies (RIFS).
,
• Perform site characterizations.
,
• Assist in remedial design (RD) and remedial action (RA) support under state and federal programs.
,
• Collect data and prepare reports.
Requirements
• BA/BS degree in Environmental Science, geology, chemistry, biology, or related science.
,
• 0-3 years of experience in a relevant field.
,
• Critical thinking and technical writing skills.
,
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
,
• Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to learn quickly.
,
• Willingness to conduct field work, including water and soil sampling.
,
• Current OSHA HAZWOPER and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with environmental project management.

• Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations.
