Waste Connections of Canada is seeking a DZ Waste Truck Driver for residential waste collection in Brantford, ON. The role involves 50% driving and 50% waste collection, with a focus on safety. Waste Connections of Canada the leader in non-hazardous solid waste management in North America is looking for an experienced Waste Collection DZ DRIVER - Residential to join our team in Brantford, ON. We are looking for an innovative, creative and proactive individual capable of creating and driving change. Waste Connections of Canada, has immediate opening in Brantford for a Residential DZ Driver Collector to join our team. At Waste Connections we are focused on SAFETY all day every day for our employees and our community. The Driver ensures safe operation of a truck while driving through densely populated residential areas. Our priority is to give our drivers a great paying career with great incentives! As a Residential garbage truck driver (DZ), The position requires 50% driving and 50% collecting curbside residential waste, yard waste or organic collection services in the city of Brantford.

Competitive Hourly Rate and Incentives:
• Hourly rate $28.96 – will increase April 1, 2025
• Competitive Company Benefits
• Monthly Safety Bonus of $300
• Home Daily Monday-Friday
• Uniforms allowance yearly $500
• 2 pairs of paid work boots per year, 1 for spring, 1 for winter
• Supplied required PPE gloves, safety glasses etc.
• Comprehensive safety training including defensive driving course.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Commercial drivers’ license is required and must be maintained.
• Maintain clean driver abstract
• Able to start working at 6:00 am.
• Capable to work up to 10 hours per day
• Experience driving a Rear Loader, Side Loader.
• DZ - AZ experience
• Available to work Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday morning

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Walking, Stepping up and down frequently.
• Exposed to elements. Outside work exposed to heat/cold, rain.
• Both seated and standing driving.
• Physical lifting refuse bags or containers up to 50lbs
