Driver recruiter/safety assistant

Green Lines Transportation is seeking a Corporate Driver Recruiter/Safety Assistant in Malvern, OH. Corporate Driver Recruiter/Safety Administration

Job Summary: Responsible for the recruitment and retention of company drivers & owner operators as well as mechanics/office personnel as necessary. Assist Safety Director with compliance functions.Full compensation package including health insurance, 401k, paid vacation/holidays, and PTO. Position is based out of our Malvern, OH office.

Job Responsibilities
• Recruit company drivers & owner operators as needed
• Recruit diesel mechanics & office personal as necessary.
• Conduct interviews via telephone and in person with potential candidates
• Complete background checks to determine if candidate meets Green Lines / FMCSA requirements.
• Communicate with terminal managers to understand their needs for drivers
• Create & maintain driver DQ files
• Have understanding knowledge of company guidelines, policies, and expectations and be able to relay that to potential candidates and current drivers
• Familiar with DOT and FMSCA rules and regulations

Requirements
• MUST HAVE 1 year minimum of TRANSPORTATION recruiting experience
• MUST HAVE basic knowledge of FMCSA regulations
• Must be efficient in Microsoft Office
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
