Driver - Melbourne - Western and Southern Areas

RecycleSmart is hiring a Driver for casual work in Melbourne's Western and Southern areas. Responsibilities include safe collection of recyclables, data entry, and sorting items. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, an unrestricted driver's license, an ABN, and their own vehicle. The position requires availability on weekdays in the morning. Pay ranges from A$35 to A$40 per hour.

Council areas we are hiring for:

Bayside, Brimbank, Glen Eira, Hobson's Bay, Kingston, Maribyrnong, Melbourne, Monash, Moonee Valley, Port Philip, Stonnington, Whitehorse.

About your responsibilities:

As a RecycleSmart driver you will be responsible for the safe, professional and timely collection of all pickups assigned to you for the day from various locations. As well as this core responsibility, you will:
• Collect data of each bag collected and register it in our App
• Sort and dispose of all the items collected in the closest consolidation point
• As the business grows you may become responsible for managing drivers as well as creating their routes in your area and develop relationships with our business partners

About you:

As well as having amazing customer service skills and a 'can-do', flexible attitude, you will:
• Live in one of the councils we are hiring for

• An unrestricted Australian driver's license

• Your own vehicle
• The confidence to safely drive and navigate through busy streets and suburban roads
• Availability to work week days in the morning (from 8am flexible start)
