Dirt Crew Laborer

Vallencourt Construction Company Inc. is hiring Dirt Crew Laborers in Green Cove Springs, FL, for various skill levels. Responsibilities include site grading, excavation, and general construction tasks. Physical labor is required, along with the ability to operate tools and lift 50 lbs. Workers must have reliable transportation to jobsites, which can be 10-80 miles away, and adhere to safety regulations. This is a full-time position.

Dirt Crew Laborers; Skill levels vary from entry to expert. The request of the labor could be from a minor skill to a more educated skill. Skilled labor positions require related and verifiable experience.
• Assist with site grading, dewatering, soil correction, foundation excavation and backfill
• Support with general construction duties for earthwork, including but not limited to staking, cleaning and preparing a job site.
• Perform a variety of task involving physical labor
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Work is performed under various field and weather conditions
• Must be able to list 50 lbs carry, stand, walk, climb, kneel, bend, twist, push and pull.
• Must wear required PPE as per safety manual and OSHA regulations.
• Work weekends if requested by Foreman
• Communicate effectively with Foreman
• Must have reliable transportation to transport self to the jobsites.
• Jobsites range anywhere from 10-80 miles in one direction
• Must be DRUG FREE
• Medical Drug cards are NOT accepted
