Job Description
Nike is seeking a Director of Transition & ESG for their new UK Distribution Centre in Corby. This senior leadership role involves implementing a global vision locally, focusing on sustainability and community impact. The director will lead a team in transition management and work closely with stakeholders to ensure the success of the new facility, which aims to enhance the consumer experience and create a positive work environment.
Who We Are Looking For

As we expand our operational footprint across EMEA we are looking for a star candidate to ensure our first UK omnichannel Logistics Campus will be ready to showcase the absolute best of Nike. Our vision is to create an enduring and inspirational Campus that embodies Nike’s mission, bringing the power of sport closer to the communities we serve.
As the Transition and ESG Director you will be a Senior Leader within the new UK Distribution Campus organisation with responsibility for landing a global vision in a local setting with lasting impact. This role will support the Program until go live in Summer 2027, and continue beyond to grow and nuture a great place to work within the community. The role requires effective partnerships with multiple stakeholders to bring our ambitious vision to life, and showcase the very best of our European Logistics Campus (ELC) magic in a new location. You will wrap the right presence, the right people and the right processes together into a compelling narrative that inspires a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
The role will be based on the new 35 acre Campus site in Corby, with occasional travel required to our existing Distribution Campus in Belgium and our European Headquarters in Hilversum.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As our Transition and ESG Director you will lead a team of experts in transition management, communications, and sustainability to ensure we are ready to make an enduring impact on the business, the local community, the local environment, and ultimately the consumer experience in the UK. With your team you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure we have strong levels of engagement, inspiration and support to successfully land this major new facility.

You will lead your team to leverage Nike’s unique culture of innovation, disruption and dynamism to break new boundaries and ensure we have the right presence, the right athletes* and the right culture in place to create a truly great working environment that adds widely recognized value and opportunity.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
Reporting into the Sr. Director for Logistics Development, you will work closely with the Program Director team to elicit and integrate relevant insights from your team of subject matter experts. You will also play an important role as a Senior Leader within the UK DC Program leadership team where you will work closely with Program leaders to bring to Nike’s UK DC vision to life.
WHAT YOU BRING?
• Demonstrable experience in the successful delivery of large scale projects with multiple stakeholders, ideally in logistics.
• A seasoned team player with clear progressive experience in engaging and inspiring a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in building, leading, motivating, mentoring, and inspiring highly productive teams to deliver on time and with creativity.
• A track record of Influencing organizations towards time-critical decision making and creating and creating a culture of ownership and innovation.
• A great communicator, able to convey your thoughts, ideas and opinions clearly and concisely face-to-face or virtually to all levels up and down stream.
• Demonstrable ability to work in a large, matrixed organization, successfully influencing others and building collaborative partnerships to deliver large scale projects.
• A high-performance mindset: bias for action, drive for impactful results, while demonstrating positive attitude and comfortable managing ambiguity.
