Sandia National Laboratories seeks a Director for the Nuclear Fuel Cycle & Renewable Energy Initiatives in Albuquerque, NM. Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Nuclear Fuel Cycle & Grid Modernization Center as Director. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives, promoting collaboration, and leading research and development efforts in nuclear energy and grid resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for nuclear fuel cycle and grid modernization programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, national laboratories, and industry partners.
• Lead research and development efforts focused on addressing climate change through innovative solutions.
• Mentor and develop high-performing teams to tackle complex challenges in nuclear energy and grid resilience.

Requirements
• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as science, mathematics, or engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in managing R&D programs, with a focus on nuclear energy and grid modernization.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale projects and fostering collaborations across different sectors.
• Active DOE Q-level security clearance and ability to obtain SCI access.
