Director of Finance (with CFO Track)

The Director of Finance position at a rapidly growing Venture Capital Fund in New York offers a flexible hybrid schedule (2 days remote, 3 days in office). The role involves leading the finance function, reporting to the Founder, with a clear path to CFO. Candidates should have 10-15 years of relevant experience and a CPA. IN OFFICE POLICY:

THE ROLE:

As the Director of Finance, you will be the #1 in Finance reporting directly to the Founder
• Responsible for day-to-day leadership of the accounting and finance function
• Exposure to more than just mgmt. co. and fund accounting
• The firm uses fund admin and public accountants for audit/tax work
• You will have a clear growth path to CFO

COMPENSATION:

-Ideally $325k - $350k total cash comp ($225k - $250k base salary plus bonus)

-Plus CARRY

QUALIFICATIONS:

-10-15 years of public and private accounting experience

-MUST be coming from a small or mid-sized private equity firm/venture capital firm

-CPA required
