This job requires strong analytical and technical abilities and demands fast, carefully thought-out results. Strong leadership and control of the work process from beginning to end is necessary. The job centers around developing new ideas, systems (in collaboration with data engineers), and also analyzing and improving on old ones. A high level of expertise is expected and the ability to spot and correct errors is important.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Product Management

Oversee the high quality, timely delivery, and evolution of existing product for an entire product line, including overseeing the quality and timeliness of responding to client engagement.
• Lead and facilitate discussions on East Daley’s Supply & Demand outlook for Natural Gas including high impact supply variables like the Haynesville, Marcellus/Utica, and the Permian and high impact demand variables including LNG and Data Centers.
• Provide monthly supply summaries connecting commodity trends using insights from the product team and data tools.
• Compare historical and forecasted supply data to EIA benchmarks monthly.
• Use state-level benchmarks to ensure accuracy of historical natural gas data.
• Track and report deviations between East Daley forecasts and external benchmarks.
• Incorporate state-reported plant data to enhance East Daley’s forecasting models.
• Optimize processes for integrating relevant and impactful data in production forecasts.

Product Development
• Coordinate & execute efforts across the Sales, Marketing, and Data team to ensure the new Product meets the needs of the Market and is impactful across Sales, Marketing, Data & Visualization efforts.

Marketing (Content, Presentations, Media Interactions)
• Creates quarterly Natural Gas market updates for use in engaging current clients and marketing to prospects.
• Responsible for publishing weekly content in the Natural Gas Weekly in partnership with Hart Energy that engages clients and prospects with market events and themes.
• Leads media engagement that represents East Daley’s voice on topical market matters.

Sales
• Capable of leading client and prospect calls with the Natural Gas Team, providing analytical insights related to natural gas supply through infrastructure to demand markets.

Data
• Maintain QA at the Product level and think innovatively about how to best deliver the Natural Gas data & analytics to the market effectively and efficiently.

Consulting
• Proactive in managing the communication and delivery of the consulting project, including coaching the Apprentice and Professional on projects. Includes the ability to clearly articulate the key takeaways in addition to coaching the team on delivery execution.

Qualifications/Education
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is required; experience with SQL is a plus
• Prior energy experience is advantageous, as is a strong desire to learn and grow
• Demonstrated ability to work long hours initially as you learn the ropes, showcasing tenacity and a commitment to personal and professional growth
• Strong leadership and control of the work process from beginning to end
• Experience in managing and leading a team

Pay range and compensation package

Salary range is $125,000 - $150,000 plus bonus opportunities depending on experience.
