Raymond James Financial Services is seeking a Director of Experience Investment Banking in Riverside, IL. Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develops and executes strategies to accomplish client and employee experience-oriented services and goals.
• Works with internal leaders and Investment Banking senior management to develop, execute and support strategic initiatives for multiple workstreams.
• Build partnerships within and across business functions to assess existing practices, identify opportunities and develop plans to enhance and maintain exceptional employee and client experience.
• Lead operational improvements and well-designed workflows to the business that support a positive and efficient experience ultimately supporting revenue growth.
• Delegates and provides guidance to team members to influence an environment of learning and teamwork.
• Present strategic plans and work with executive leadership to align on priorities, resources and budget.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned and needed.

Knowledge of
• Advanced investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry.
• Advanced concepts, principles and practices of Investment Banking.
• Financial markets and products.

• Analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities
• Identifying resources to help aid in operational improvements
• Organizing and managing complex problems and workflows
• Problem solving skills and the ability to think independently sufficient to market ideas.
• Defining high standards of quality and evaluate products, services, and own performance against those standards.
• Operating standard office equipment and using required software application to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, and spreadsheets.
Ability to
• Travel frequently with limited advance notice.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels, including senior Investment Banking management.
• Balance conflicting resource and priority demands.
• Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Plan, assign, monitor, review, evaluate and lead the work of others.
• Identify training needs and develop subordinates.
• Work independently, make non-routine, complex decisions and resolve moderately complex accounting problems.
• Organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions.
• Attend to detail while maintaining a big picture orientation.
• Interpret and apply policies and identify and recommend changes as appropriate.
• Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Identify required tasks, develop timelines and execute.
• Project a positive, professional image both internal and with external business contacts.
• Lead meetings, ensuring that all viewpoints, ideas and problems are addressed.
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field, MBA preferred and (10) ten to (12) twelve years of experience in the financial industry.

• Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
Licenses/Certifications
• SIE required provided that an exemption or grandfathering cannot be applied.
• FINRA Series 7 License preferred but not required.

Travel Required: Yes, 50 % of the Time

Education
Bachelor's: Business Administration (Required), Bachelor's: Computer and Information Science (Required), Bachelor's: Digital Communications and Media/Multimedia (Required)

Manager Experience - 6 to 10 years

$100,000.00-$250,000.00
