About Our Client
Our client is in the renewable energy industry with a growing presence in the Asia Pacific region. Due to an expansion, they are looking for a Director, Commercial Negotiations for their Philippines operations to be based in Manila supporting the growing business operations.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will drive the contract negotiations of power purchase agreements with Distribution Utilities, Retail Electricity Suppliers and other corporate clients, ensuring they align with market regulations and company objectives. You will also be responsible for driving bids and tenders in the energy market. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional internal stakeholders to ensure seamless contract execution and successful deal closure and build relationships with external stakeholders in the energy industry.

Requirements
You are Degree qualified with at least 7 years experience in commercial negotiations, sales or have experience in managing an energy trading portfolio management within the energy industry. A strong track record in negotiating power purchase agreements (PPAs) is essential. You possess a strong commercial acumen, are analytical and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. You have a strong network and a deep understanding of market trends and regulatory requirements in the energy markets that is necessary to advise senior stakeholders effectively.
