The Opportunity

As a result of tremendous growth and investment in digital solutions we are looking to hire a Senior Manager to drive digital transformation across all parts of the firm. You will take a lead role in designing and embedding digital solutions to drive value and business outcomes, improve productivity, create efficiencies, and enhance the employee and client experience.

Working as part of the Digital Experience community within Ashurst Advance Digital you will provide digital experience expertise and methodologies for strategic digital initiatives, legal service transformation, and digital change management and engagement.

You will collaborate with colleagues across legal, consulting, Ashurst Advance and business services to:
• identify opportunities for digital transformation, especially in legal delivery, and design and deliver those solutions, services or capabilities;
• stay abreast of the evolving capabilities of the digital solutions in the firm/market to further drive transformation and support strategic digital decision making; and
• support Digital Culture and Enablement initiatives across the firm to empower everyone to think and act more digitally.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:
• At least 3 years' experience as a practising lawyer.
• Proven digital legal transformation experience capability gained in a professional services environment or in-house, including managing transformation team members.
• Demonstrable experience of driving digital transformation and working alongside design, product and change professionals to deliver digital transformation initiatives.
• Hands on experience of legal technology tools and enthusiasm and excitement for legal innovation, digital transformation and continual learning.
• Very strong communication, facilitation, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Passionate about getting your hands dirty, training others, and working proactively in a fast-paced, constantly adapting environment.
• Agile, adaptable, and open to learning with the ability to harness ambiguity to shape new opportunities and approaches whilst delivering quality at pace.
• The ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders with legal/non-legal backgrounds, bringing together the knowledge, expertise and skillsets of multiple professionals to achieve outcomes and drive more collaborative ways of working.
