Job Description
EcoVadis is seeking a Development Discovery Program Intern in Connecticut for a 3-month internship. The role involves hands-on experience in software development, test automation, and AI tools in an agile environment. Responsibilities include enhancing code quality, supporting test automation, and contributing to knowledge management. Candidates should be current university students with a passion for CSR, basic programming knowledge, and fluency in English. Office attendance is required.
The Discovery Internship Program will enable you to discover the most trusted sustainability intelligence platform and see how the different teams are working together in a truly CSR business environment. Position description:
We are looking for a curious and proactive intern to join our Development Team for a 3-month internship. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development, test automation, and exploring AI tools to enhance processes. You will work closely with experienced developers in an agile environment, contributing to key projects that drive technical improvements and innovation.
Key responsibilities:
• Enhance Code Quality: Support the team by implementing code fixes focused on improving coverage, security and maintainability, contributing to better performance indications (KPIs).
• Support Test Automation: Assist in developing and improving test automation to strengthen the testing pyramid, ensuring software quality and efficiency.
• Knowledge Management Contribution: Help capture and organize knowledge from the development team, facilitating better collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Experiment with AI Tools: Explore and experiment with AI-based development tools to improve workflows, enhance process and support innovation.
• Current University Student: Eligible for an on-site internship with the ability to establish an internship agreement.
• Passion for CSR and Sustainability: A strong interest and commitment to CSR and sustainability initiatives.
• Object-Oriented Programming Knowledge: Basic understanding of object-oriented languages such as C# or Java.
• Technical Foundations: Basic understanding of software development principles and the ability to work within an agile development environment.
• SQL Knowledge: Basic knowledge of SQL for data management and querying.
• Detail-Oriented and Analytical: Attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret data accurately.
• Global Mindset: Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Location: Barcelona
• Working hours: 40 hours per week
• You must be living and studying in the location advertised
• Office attendance is expected
