Designer/Draftsman– Solar Technical

Statkraft is hiring a Designer/Draftsman for Solar Technical in Bengaluru, India. The role involves creating drawings for civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical components of solar power plants, conducting feasibility studies, and preparing layouts. Candidates need a Bachelor's/Diploma in Engineering and at least 4 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and industry-specific software is required. The position emphasizes teamwork, commitment, and adherence to safety and ethical standards.
The overall experience and excellent exposures for drawing of various Civil, Structural, electrical and mechanicals objects and equipment. Capable to prepare BOQ from available drawings of Buildings and Structures.
Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations, contour surveys and google map
Hands on experience for preparations of PV Plant lay outs, Array Grouping, Drawings of Trenches for Cable laying as per the land lay out / profiles.
Competency in drawings for General Arrangement Layout of Solar PV plants, suitable locations of control rooms, various equipment foundation, Road Lay outs and Module cleaning arrangements.
Experienced in preparing Topography Surface, Catchment area marking, earthwork quantity analysis
Ability to maintain an overview of entire projects while continuing to attend to detailed technicalities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Complete knowledge of relevant legislation
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to conduct site surveys and
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
High skill level in AutoCAD, PV Case software. Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office.
Ability to learn new graphic software to compliment the presentation of new designs

Qualifications And Experience:-

Bachelor’s/Diploma in Engineering. Extensive experience may compensate for lack of theoretical education.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Engineering, Design of Solar power plants.
Experience with industry specific software such as PV case, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit architecture, Sketchup, Helioscope.
Self-starter with ability to work with commitment and accuracy under pressure with a high degree of self-motivation, while operating as a team player at all times.
