Design & Social Media Specialist - Eco-tourism & Hospitality - Western Cape

The Design & Social Media Specialist position at Hospitality Jobs Africa involves creating original photo and video content for eco-tourism lodges in Cape Town. You will be responsible for generating original photo and video content to showcase the brand’s lodges, wildlife, staff, and conservation efforts. Your role will include shooting and editing content, managing social media calendars, and producing on-brand visuals for digital and print platforms.
This is a hands-on, independent role that requires initiative, a good eye for aesthetics, and the technical skills to bring visual stories to life.
• Responsibilities include:
Planning and executing photo and video shoots on the reserve
Editing content for use on social media, websites, presentations, and print
Designing branded collateral for marketing campaigns
Maintaining content schedules and digital asset libraries
Monitoring social media trends and community engagement
Collaborating with the marketing and lodge teams

• Salary: R15,000 - R25,000 depending on experience

2-4 years' experience in digital media, videography, or design
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
Strong storytelling and editing skills
Able to work independently in a remote, outdoor environment
Passion for nature, tourism, and conservation
South African citizenship or valid work permit
Valid driver’s license
