Environmental and Social (E&S) Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Environmental and Social (E&S) Specialist to join our team at Rewnew.
About the Role:

This is a key position responsible for ensuring that our projects meet the highest environmental and social standards. The successful candidate will work closely with our project teams, consultants, and stakeholders to develop and implement effective E&S management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement E&S Management Systems, Grievance Redressal Mechanisms, and Stakeholder Engagement Plans for new projects.
• Schedule and conduct E&S compliance audits at site to ensure effective implementation of corporate ESMS.
• Coordinate with Business and Corporate Finance teams internally and provide relevant inputs for compliance to E&S obligations as per investors/lenders and corporate ESMS manual.
• Conduct E&S related trainings to create awareness among various teams.
• Coordinate with consultants engaged for carrying out ESIA, ESDD, and other relevant studies/audits for ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with field HSE for effective implementation of E&S management systems.
• Support site teams to develop site-specific procedures for waste management and other E&S aspects.
• Assist site teams in investigating environment-related accidents and near-misses.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in E&S management, with experience in developing and implementing E&S management systems. They should be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
