Job Purpose: Team Member - EHS will be responsible for implementation, and management of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and programs across all Data Centre projects. This role involves ensuring a safe and compliant work environment through regular audits, risk assessments, and training initiatives.

Responsibilities

EHS Program Implementation:

Lead the execution of EHS policies, procedures, and programs across Data Centre projects to ensure comprehensive safety and environmental compliance.

Audits And Safety Drills

:

Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, ensure adherence to safety standards, and assess compliance with EHS regulations.

Risk Management

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate EHS risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to address identified hazards.

Incident Investigation & Corrective Action

Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-compliance issues, providing detailed analysis and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with local, state, and national environmental regulations and standards, keeping abreast of any changes or updates to relevant legislation.

Training & Safety Awareness

Develop and deliver EHS training programs to enhance awareness, foster a culture of safety, and ensure all employees and contractors are informed of safety protocols and best practices.

Emergency Response Preparedeness

Participate in the development and maintenance of emergency response plans, including conducting drills and exercises to ensure preparedness for potential emergencies.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor and analyse EHS performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety outcomes and operational efficiency.

Digital Mindset

Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Team Development

Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.

EHS Team Leads, Cross-functional Teams (Operations, HR), Safety and Environmental Teams

Regulatory Bodies (EHS-related), Auditors and Consultants, Contractors and Vendors

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety & Post diploma in industrial safety

Work Experience

Minimum 6 - 10 years of experience in EHS roles, with a strong background in data centre or industrial environments.
