About This Opportunity
We are seeking a Demand Response Program Specialist (Sr. Program Specialist) who will be responsible for providing a broad range of support services for Demand Response team. Working within these teams, the key role of a Program Specialist is to drive the work supporting the team's processes which highlights the energy savings achieved for clients. This includes project tracking, scheduling, invoicing, performing quality control reviews, and drafting summary reports. This position also provides ongoing operational, administrative, and logistical support for the team.

What You Will Be Doing:
• Some level of on-call work during demand response events to ensure that all systems are operating as intended
• Using program-specific tools, such as calculators and forms, and helping both internal and external customers use and troubleshoot the use of program-specific tools
• Using program-specific software, such as SharePoint, HAPD, InfoPath, and Report Builder to support team tracking and reporting needs
• Processing program-specific paperwork
• Communicating effectively with program participants in a variety of ways
• Managing monthly invoicing process
• Performing administrative quality checks of reports, presentations, memos, collateral, and other program-specific documents.
• Preparing routine reports for internal and external customers
• Training Program Specialists and other junior program staff
• Preparing presentations including slide decks, assembling participant materials, and securing/readying meeting accommodations
• Responding to immediate or unexpected program needs
This is a full-time, exempt position, with a preferred location of Portland OR. However, for the right candidate, we would consider someone in the Pacific Time Zone. Minimal travel is anticipated for this role.
Qualifications
Applicants for this role are required to have:
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred, with preference for business administration, project management, or similar area of study
• 4+ years' experience in a progressively developing role supporting internal and external customers
• Proven customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and an understanding of process, numbers, and calculation
A successful candidate should also demonstrate these preferred characteristics and/or skills:
• Previous experience with continuous improvement programs
• Experience in the energy industry
• Familiarity with databases or other large data sets

Compensation & Benefits
Our total rewards include competitive pay and excellent benefits. These include health, vision, FSA or HSA options with an employer contribution, life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, paid parental leave, 401k retirement plan with a guaranteed 3% contribution, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), annual cash performance bonus, paid vacation, sick time, and an inclusive, flexible paid holiday policy, wellbeing contribution of $500 for HSA, FSA, or LSA (Lifestyle Spending Account).
The salary range for this position in Portland, OR is $73,920 - $92,400/yr. However, final salary offered may vary depending on non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experiences, and geographical location if different than the above.
