Job Description

Savvas Learning Company is seeking a Curriculum Specialist in Los Angeles, CA, responsible for delivering presentations, providing pilot training, and maintaining customer relationships throughout the sales cycle. The role requires at least 5 years of K-12 education experience, strong presentation skills, and proficiency in technology. Regional travel may be required. A Bachelor's degree is necessary, with a Master's preferred, and biliteracy in English and Spanish is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:

Delivering winning presentations for each sales cycle, including six customer touchpoints: exhibits and conferences, issue-setting workshops, meetings and campaigns, presentations, pilot activation, and program activation.

Providing Pilot Activation Trainings and consistent communication and support for pilot teachers throughout the pilot process.

Sharing customer feedback with sales, product, and marketing teams to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Maintaining expertise through Savvas Learning Company certification and staying up-to-date on agreed-upon materials.

Delivering Program Activation trainings for new and ongoing customer accounts.

Having a deep understanding of Savvas Learning Company's print and digital solutions, including K-12 education products.

Maintaining positive relationships with customers throughout the sales cycle and beyond to provide ongoing support and ensure client satisfaction.

Providing exceptional customer service at all times.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of K-12 education experience, including classroom teaching experience.

Bachelor's degree or higher, with a Master's degree preferred.

Biliterate in English and Spanish preferred, with specialty training or advanced certification also preferred.

Demonstrated expertise in education theory and market trends in K-12 education.

Passion for learning and demonstrated ability to deliver engaging presentations in large and small groups.

Previous experience in selling and servicing in the education market is desirable.

Experience in public speaking and creating engaging presentations for various audiences, including teachers, parents, district administrators, superintendents, and adoption committees.

Strong technology skills, including proficiency in presentation software and hardware (PC or Mac) to develop and deliver multimedia presentations.

Additional Requirements:

Regional travel may be required, with occasional short notice requests.

Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

Familiarity with timekeeping and expense management policies.

Collaboration with team members across departments to address customer satisfaction issues and ensure customer success.

Self-motivation and ability to take ownership of tasks and projects.

Understanding of sales campaign strategy, market trends, and Savvas Learning Company services to better serve customers.
