Responsibilities
• Complete all required training and onboarding activities.

• Familiarize yourself with course manuals and resources.
,
• Plan in-class and out-of-class activities and assessments.

• Organize student-facing materials in Microsoft Teams and/or Moodle.
,
• Prepare the classroom space for the first day of class.
,
• Submit syllabus and required materials for approval.
,
• Deliver engaging courses featuring facilitated learning.
,
• Provide ongoing, meaningful feedback to students.
,
• Administer pre- and post-tests as required.
,
• Complete end-of-course evaluations for each student.

• Assign grades according to established rubrics.

• Establish classroom norms and communicate expectations.

• Attend to student health and wellness matters according to protocols.

• Communicate with parents and students according to guidelines.

• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.

• Attend all required staff meetings and professional learning experiences.

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university is required.

• At least two years of teaching or tutoring experience is required.

• Advanced knowledge of biology and environmental science.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
Nice-to-haves
• Master's Degree is preferred.
