Job Details : Corporate Sustainability Consultant

We are seeking a Consultant to join our growing Corporate Sustainability team.

Our consultants work within client project teams with responsibilities including project delivery, business development, and client management. We focus on developing our people to take on more senior roles as they grow their skills, knowledge, and experience.

You will have a key role developing and delivering our work across our service areas, including sustainability strategy and materiality, reporting and disclosure (to ESG indices, ratings, and frameworks), and social and community impact. Client focus, curiosity, strong analytical and communication skills, and good time management are essential for all our roles. The role will be based in our Barcelona office with the opportunity for hybrid working.

The role
• Researching and preparing client content including data collection, benchmarking, and analysis
• Delivery and relationship building within client projects (sometimes coordinating specific tasks within a project) including participating in client meetings
• Contributing to proposals with support from senior team members
• Keeping abreast of ESG landscape regulatory requirements and best practices

About you

We would envisage that the successful applicant would be able to demonstrate / bring the following:
• Demonstrable business and consulting, and/or other relevant experience including proven knowledge and experience in sustainability/ESG at a level commensurate with the level of the job
• Curious and unafraid to challenge conventional wisdom
• Business and client focused
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients
• Exceptional analytical skills to distil quantitative and qualitative data
• Solid time management and project management skills
• Language skills - verbal and written fluency in English and Spanish.
