Job Description
CyberCoders is seeking a Corporate EHS/HSE Manager for multi-site operations in Provo, UT. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations across various locations, developing HSE policies, providing training, investigating incidents, and fostering a safety culture. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering and 5+ years of HSE management experience. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to influence decision-making.
We're looking for a Corporate Affairs and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) Manager to join our team, to help us ensure companywide compliance with Local, State and National Safety, Health and Environmental regulations, and will work within (and cover) our multiple sites located in western North America, coordinating closely with the individual site Safety and Plant managers to create a consistent, cohesive plan to ensure a healthy, and safe working environment.
This senior manager will be the "go-to" person for ensuring that COMPANY-WIDE, our organization continues to comply with environmental regulations, workplace safety, and corporate governance.
Your role will involve working with different location, site, and department Managers to promote a culture of safety and sustainability, while also handling corporate communications and stakeholder relations.
Some of what you will perform on a day to day, and regular basis, will include:
• Develop and maintain HSE policies and programs, and work with plant managers to improve health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Provide training on HSE best practices, ensure compliance with regulations, and support environmental permitting and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents, develop corrective actions, and evaluate HSE trends to support planning.
• Create communication strategies that align with our mission, and build relationships with regulatory bodies, community organizations, and industry associations.
• Prepare and present HSE performance reports, and lead and mentor the Senior HSE Specialist.
• Foster a safety culture at each facility, and support sustainability initiatives and decarbonization efforts.
The ideally qualified candidate will bring the following experience, qualifications and skills to the role:
• Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering required; Health, Safety, or Environmental emphasis preferred.
• 5+ years of HSE management and corporate affairs experience, including interaction with regulatory agencies, communities, and NGOs.
• Preferred project management experience and qualifications, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence decision-making, work independently, manage multiple projects, and function as a team member.
• Proficient in basic computer software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Relational Databases).
• Experience in emergency planning, crisis management, media relations, and leadership with a focus on personnel development.
