Job Description

Integrated Talent Strategies is seeking a full-time Sustainability Coordinator in Toledo, OH. The role involves developing strategies to enhance environmental performance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with suppliers on sustainable practices. Candidates should have a background in sustainability, environmental engineering, and project management. Responsibilities include conducting life cycle assessments, leading sustainability initiatives, and delivering training on sustainability practices.
Sustainability Coordinator;

Play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to improve the environmental performance products. Focus on reducing the environmental impact of manufacturing processes, enhancing resource efficiency, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability practices, environmental engineering, lean processing, and project management.

Create and execute sustainability strategies to minimize the environmental impact of manufacturing processes, including resource use, waste management, and energy consumption.
Stay abreast of environmental regulations and ensure our company adheres to all relevant laws and standards. Monitor changes in legislation and recommend adjustments to policies and practices as necessary.
Collaborate with suppliers to promote sustainable practices throughout the supply chain. Evaluate supplier performance and assist in sourcing materials that meet sustainability criteria.
Champion lean waste reduction principles and methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) to drive continuous improvement.
Collect and analyze data on environmental metrics such as carbon footprint, water usage, and waste generation.
Develop and implement sustainability strategies to reduce the environmental impact of our manufacturing processes and products.
Conduct life cycle assessments (LCAs) to evaluate the environmental impact of products and identify areas for improvement.
Lead initiatives to achieve sustainability certifications and recognition, such as BIFMA LEVEL, LEED, FSC, and ISO 14001.
Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on sustainability practices and initiatives.
Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Integrated Talent Strategies
