Responsible for overseeing the finance and accounting activities of the IEA company. Supervises the team to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of payroll, client invoicing, accounts payable, cash receipts, disbursements, and G/L activities. Serves as a senior mentor for accounting efforts across the department. Ensures efficiency, accuracy, and process improvements to support Mas Tec Renewables' growth.

Location & Travel Details: This onsite position is based in Clinton, Indiana, near Terre Haute. Relocation assistance is offered! This role includes a vehicle allowance and an annual incentive program.

Responsibilities
• Oversee accounting functions for assigned companies.
• Assist leadership in strategic planning.
• Implement financial and tax strategies.
• Coordinate month-end closings and reporting.
• Prepare reconciliations, work papers, and variance analyses.
• Manage audits and ensure compliance with policies, including Sarbanes Oxley.
• Review transactions and support forecasting and budgeting.
• Lead and develop accounting staff, delegate responsibilities, and handle challenges proactively.
• Participate in corporate projects as needed.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience or equivalent.
• Experience as a Corporate or subsidiary Controller in a large company.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
Skills & Abilities
• Strong understanding of construction accounting and revenue recognition.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Proven leadership in mentoring staff.
