APA Group is seeking a Contracts Manager for their Networks team, based in Kidman Park SA, Eagle Farm QLD, or Thomastown VIC. This full-time role involves leading a team of contracts administrators, ensuring the integrity of contracts, and developing strategies for efficiency. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join the Networks team in Kidman Park SA, Eagle Farm QLD or Thomastown VIC, on a permanent and fulltime basis.
Reporting to the Manager PMO, Networks, this role leads a team of contracts administrators to ensure the legal and commercial integrity of customer and supplier contracts to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team of contracts administrators, providing guidance and support as needed<br>• Ensure the legal and commercial integrity of customer and supplier contracts
• Develop strategies to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of contract administration
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their contract needs
• Monitor and report on the status of contracts
• Keep up-to-date with the latest contract laws and regulations
Your background
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and Professional Contract Management/Administration Certification
• Previous experience with Contract Management in large infrastructure projects on behalf of State Government, Major Utilities or Tier 1 Contractors
• Proven experience in the responsibility for budgets, personnel and operational decisions
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to act independently on most decisions/issues
• Detailed understanding of Australian legal framework in the context of commercial contracts

Networks manages and operates local distribution networks and transmission pipelines that deliver gas to around 1.4 million households and businesses across Australia.
This is an exciting time for the Networks team, we are growing and expanding with many new projects, including 2032 Olympics. Also, we have a strong culture of continuous improvement and working towards Net Zero with the introduction of renewable green gas into the Gas Networks.
