About The Role
The NLC is seeking to hire for multiple Consultation and Administration Officer roles within its Benefits Distribution team, to facilitate the transparent and timely allocation of benefits across the NLC Region. These positions will play a significant role in engaging and collaborating with Traditional Owners (TOs) and community groups to gather instructions for the payment of income from their land, in alignment with NLC policies, legislation, and specified timelines.
What You Will Bring
You bring proven expertise in consultation, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and mediation, along with strong cross-cultural, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills. Your excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities enable you to manage tasks effectively. Additionally, you have a thorough understanding of fundamental financial and accounting procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.
In Addition To This We Are Looking For
• Relevant Diploma level tertiary qualification and/or a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in a similar role.
• Solid administrative and computer literacy skills such as in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs.
• Current C Class Drivers Licence and the ability to travel remotely via 4wd and light aircraft.

We Offer
• A base salary of $81,716 per annum plus 14.5% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15,900 + Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefits up to $2,650 per year.
• Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
• District allowance of up to $4,797 per annum for individuals with dependents and $2,630 without dependents.
• 5 weeks annual leave, leaving loading, 18 days personal leave;
• Paid Christmas close down;
• Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $2,961
