ICF is seeking Consultants to Principal Consultants for their Environmental Policy team in Leeds, UK. Candidates will tackle environmental and sustainability challenges, engage with policymakers, and lead projects. Position: Consultant to Principal Consultant opportunities | Environment Policy Shape the Future of the EnvironmentConsultant to Principal Consultant opportunities | UKAre you passionate about solving some of today’s biggest environmental and sustainability challenges?DescriptionICF is growing its Environmental Policy team and we're looking for talented professionals across all levels, from early career Consultants through to experienced Principal Consultants , to help deliver high-impact work for clients including Defra, Natural England, the Office for Environmental Protection, the Marine Management Organisation, the Environment Agency and other public sector organisations.Our work influences public policy and decision-making across areas such as:Biodiversity, nature recovery and natural capitalAgriculture, fisheries and food systems management and sustainabilityTerrestrial, freshwater and marine environmentsEnvironmental governance and regulationConservation and protected areasPollution and environmental qualityClimate change and net zeroSustainability, resilience and resource managementWhat You’ll DoDeliver research, analysis and evaluation that shapes environmental policySolve complex policy challenges using evidence-based approachesEngage with policymakers, regulators and key stakeholdersContribute to business development and thought leadershipLead projects and multidisciplinary teams (depending on level)What We’re Looking ForWe’re keen to hear from individuals with experience in environmental, agriculture or food policy background, sustainability, economics, evaluation, social research, data analytics, climate, water, biodiversity or related fields.You Will BringStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationExperience delivering high-quality social, economic or environmental researchA collaborative mindsetWe are interested to hear from both entry-level researchers who are new to the profession as well as experienced candidates.
