Consultant, Sustainability, Energy, & Climate Change

Duties:

Develop and maintain data management systems and business intelligence tools.

Develop entity-wide sustainability data inventories and/or life cycle assessments for resources use (e.g., energy, water) and environmental metrics (e.g., greenhouse gas emissions, waste).

Conduct verifications of entity-wide inventories for resource use (e.g., energy) and environmental metrics (e.g. greenhouse gas emissions).

Design sustainability or climate risk management performance targets with accompanying strategies and achievement plans.

Identify and evaluate strategies and tactics for reducing resource use (e.g., energy, water) and environmental metrics (e.g., greenhouse gas emissions, waste).

Analyze energy efficiency measures and renewable energy procurement options.

Conduct climate- and water-related risk and opportunity assessments.

Research sustainability programs and initiatives and benchmark companies.

Produce sustainability reports, disclosures, and other communications.

Support business development activities with existing and prospective clients.

Salary:

$86,362/year

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field plus one month of experience as a Climate Change Consultant, Sustainability Consultant, or related role.
