Background
Lodhran Pilot Project (LPP), in collaboration with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), is implementing a project aimed at promoting green vocational training and climate-resilient livelihoods. The project emphasizes gender inclusion, recognizing the barriers women face in accessing TVET and green economic opportunities.

Objective of the Consultancy

The consultancy aims to strengthen gender responsiveness in project design and implementation through:
• Conducting a comprehensive gender analysis
• Identifying gender-based barriers in TVET and green sectors
• Providing practical recommendations for gender-responsive programming
• Building the capacity of project partners to integrate gender in climate and TVET initiatives

Scope of Work

1. Gender Analysis
The consultant will:
• Assess gender roles, norms, and barriers in TVET and green sectors
• Analyze participation, access to opportunities, and decision-making patterns
• Identify institutional and community-level constraints for women
• Explore opportunities for women in green skills (e.g., agriculture, renewable energy, waste management)
• Provide actionable recommendations for gender integration

2. Capacity Building Workshop
• Design and facilitate a 3-day training for partner organizations (LPP, RDF, SABAWON)
• Cover key topics including:
• Gender concepts and equality
• Gender in TVET and labor markets
• Gender-responsive project design
• Gender and climate change
• Monitoring gender outcomes
• Provide practical tools and case studies

Expected Deliverables
• Inception Report (within 2 weeks)
• Gender Analysis Report with findings & recommendations (within 6 weeks)
• Gender Integration Guidelines (within 7 weeks)
• Training Materials (before workshop)
• 3-Day Capacity Building Workshop
• Training Report (within 1 week after training)

Key Outcome

The consultancy will ensure that the project adopts practical, gender-responsive approaches that enhance women’s participation in green skills, climate adaptation, and livelihood opportunities.
