Job Description

Piper Maddox is seeking two Construction Project Managers for a Renewable Energy organization in Rochester, NY. Responsibilities include project execution, budgeting, planning, coordinating, documentation, and quality management. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in construction management, particularly in commercial or industrial projects, and possess OSHA 10 or 30 qualifications. This is a full-time position with no degree requirement.
Piper Maddox have recently partnered with a Renewable Energy organization based in northern New York in an effort to build out their Construction Project Management group.

Currently, we are searching for 2 Project Managers / Construction Managers to join them on a permanent basis.

This organization operate across the Renewable Energy space, working with the local communities & larger institutions across the US to identify and achieve their Renewable Energy & Sustainability goals.

In this position, you will be responsible for 5 main areas:
• Project Execution & Management: Oversee project-related tasks within established processes, ensuring high-quality execution, on-time delivery, and adherence to scope and budget.
• Budgeting, Scheduling & Risk Management: Organize and track budgets, schedules, progress, and costs while managing risks, resolving issues, and communicating project status to stakeholders.
• Planning & Coordination: Develop construction plans, staffing requirements, schedules, and travel plans, while overseeing all project phases from conception to close-out.
• Meetings & Documentation: Participate in design and preconstruction activities, attend project meetings, generate reports, and maintain logs (RFI, submittals, material tracking, action items).
• Change & Quality Management: Handle change orders, RFIs, bulletins, and subcontractor adjustments while ensuring quality control, adherence to plans, and resolution of deviations.

The ideal person for this position will have a background similar to the below:
• A Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Construction Manager / Construction Project Manager.
• Must have experience working on Commercial or Industrial Construction Projects.
• A background across all standard Project Management tasks (scheduling, planning, coordinating)
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 qualification.
