Job Description

John Wood Group Limited is seeking Construction Managers for Renewable Energy Projects in Little Rock, AR. Candidates will manage complex construction projects, ensuring they meet timelines and budgets. Experience in renewable energy is preferred but not required. Positions are on-site throughout the USA, with project durations of 6 to 24 months. Responsibilities include overseeing contractors, ensuring quality and safety, and reporting progress. A minimum of three years in construction is required.
Construction Management Roles Wood is currently seeking applications for Construction Management roles such as Construction Manager, Superintendent, Supervisor, Coordinator, Field Engineer or similar to support Renewable Energy Projects.

We are seeking people to manage complex construction projects ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Experience in renewable energy is preferred. Those without that experience, but with a desire to gain that experience are equally encouraged to apply.

There are multiple positions, with different levels of responsibilities, but all positions are on-site at locations throughout the USA. You will be assigned to a site location for the duration of the project. Projects vary in duration, generally from 6 to 24 months.

Responsibilities Primary workplace is field office at construction site. Conduct regular site meetings Oversee contractors on site Monitor, evaluate, and report progress against construction schedule Ensure quality of the work and deficiency identification and correction Collaborate to identify required material and equipment Ensure safety and security of site Regular progress reporting Identify change requests Communicating with stakeholders where required Ensure environmental and quality control protection requirements are carried out Responsible for construction and contractor related deliverables Responsible for execution of the work in accordance with quality standards Management receiving activities of materials and equipment. Review construction documents and submittals Prepare Reports Qualifications Currently authorized to work in USA without sponsorship from Wood Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in a construction field Preference for eight (8) years field experience in an industrial environment Experience in Renewable Energy is highly desirable, Possession of a valid driver's license Proficiency in document creation and editing (Microsoft Office Products such as Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel) Well-developed interpersonal skills are necessary in order to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing requirements to a wide range of client groups (internal and external) Self-motivated, ability to work independently, or in a team environment, and provide leadership, support, direction, and consultation Ability to manage multiple initiatives with strong organizational skills to meet project deadlines Willingness to travel, participate in activities, network and build relationships Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to organize, analyze and report on various parameters and data sets Ability to proactively detect challenges to safety, quality, cost and schedule that will ensure development and execution of effective prevention, mitigation, or corrective actions Able to establish and maintain a positive and effective customer relationship, ensuring payment terms are met, and communicating any delays. Well organized, observant, good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work with timelines/targets.
