Job Description

Redwood Materials is seeking a Construction Management Intern in McCarran, NV, to assist with sustainable battery production projects. Responsibilities include supporting site coordination, managing schedules, and attending design meetings. Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:
• Assist construction manager with site coordination meetings.
• Manage general contractor schedule updates, change order log, and estimates alongside construction manager.
• Attend design coordination meetings on behalf of the construction team and relay necessary information to construction partners.
• Complete a to-be-determined intern project to improve the schedule, quality, budget, or design efficiency.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:
• Currently pursuing an advanced degree in civil engineering, construction management, or another relevant field.
• Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Willingness to contribute at all levels of the organization.
• Passion for sustainability and making the world a better place.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, lift, and carry objects over 50 lbs. .
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs carrying weight.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
