Job Description
NES Fircroft is hiring a Construction Coordinator for a 12-month contract in Western Australia. Responsibilities include developing work scopes, reviewing piping design, preparing constructability reviews, and ensuring resource allocation. The role requires a trade background with at least 10 years of mechanical/piping fitting experience. The position starts in the office and transitions to a site in Perth. Full AU working rights are required.
We are currently recruiting a Construction Coordinator for a Global Oil & Gas EPC on an initial 12-month contract to be based into the office initially and then transition onto site in the south of Perth.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop work scopes, work packs, permit to work, procedures and processes to support the team’s efficiency and quality of work
• Review Piping design and ensure design is constructable, provide input to design as required
• Preparation of constructability reviews and HAZIDS
• Ensure all documentation, materials tools and consumables are identified and ready to execute for project portfolio
• Responsible for the allocation of resources as defined by schedule
• Participate in schedule and execution development to ensure the schedule is realistic and achievable for all base scope and carry over
• Develop manning requirements and participate in the selection and recruitment of personnel
• Provide direction, guidance and leadership to all members of the teams
• Provide Leadership to achieve QHSE behaviours and culture to meet agreed targets
• Lead Pre starts and Tool Box Meetings
• Communicate clear and effective directions of job and schedule requirements to the work team
• Ensure that activities are scheduled to allow project activities to be executed
• Ensure planning and preparation of daily activities to achieve schedule for scope activities
• Ensure compliance with SIMOPs requirements
Qualifications:
• Trade background with minimum of 10 years’ experience in mechanical/piping fitting
• Working knowledge of Construction processes
