Anchor QEA is seeking a Senior Ecological Consultant in Madison, WI, to lead their Environmental Restoration Practice in the Great Lakes and Northeast. The role involves managing habitat and ecological restoration projects, developing client relationships, and expanding business opportunities. We're seeking a highly experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Ecological Consultant. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading our Environmental Restoration Practice in the Great Lakes and Northeast regions and expanding our presence in the region.
About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in identifying, planning, designing, and implementing habitat and ecological restoration projects and programs. They will be responsible for leading project teams, developing new clients, and winning multi-disciplinary projects and/or programs with a focus on sustainable habitat and ecological restoration solutions.
Responsibilities
• Developing comprehensive scopes of work, negotiating fees, and managing project schedules and deliverables
• Providing technical guidance and oversight on restoration projects, including habitat and wetland restoration, river restoration, and compensatory mitigation
• Building strategic partnerships and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion
• Leading business development efforts to expand our habitat and ecological restoration practice
Requirements

We're seeking a highly experienced professional with the following qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in habitat and ecological restoration planning and/or design, project management, staff management, and sales with regional and national clients
• Proven track record of generating new business and growing a habitat and ecological restoration practice in the environmental consulting field
• Experience working with federal, state, and local clients, as well as private sector companies
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field
