About the Role

As a key member of our Conservation team, you will be responsible for leading our climate strategy in Alaska. You will work closely with colleagues in Government Relations, Communications, Philanthropy, and Finance/Operations to develop and implement effective climate conservation programs.
• Develop and maintain effective systems to ensure accurate and appropriate tracking and reporting on impact and progress metrics.
• Responsible for setting up internal systems and procedures around research and data tracking.
• Lead scoping and measuring of carbon-related metrics in support of team members.

About Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in conservation practice or a related field. You should have experience managing complex projects, supervising teams, and developing partnerships with non-profit partners, community groups, and government agencies. Knowledge of current trends and practices in climate and Alaska is essential.
