Upper Valley Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is seeking a dedicated Compost Laborer to join their team in St. Helena, CA. This full-time, long-term position involves working in a dynamic environment focused on composting operations, ensuring the effective sorting and management of compost materials while adhering to safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities
• Sorting material by hand and by operating equipment
,
• Reading temperatures in compost piles
,
• Cleaning equipment as needed
,
• Landscaping & general site cleanup as needed
,
• Performing other assigned duties at the facility as needed

Requirements
• At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in a labor type position
,
• The ability to lift more than 50 pounds
,
• Experience operating equipment is a plus
,
• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
