• Conduct and co-ordinate searches of the firm's conflicts database, and of external databases, to support the conflicts analysis to be performed by senior team members.
• Assist with the timely delivery of administrative requirements to open new clients and matters in our practice management system. This would include ensuring that sufficient information has been provided and the entry of data in relevant firm systems.
• Review requests to establish or update information barriers.
• Respond promptly and clearly to queries from Partners, lawyers, and assistants regarding new business acceptance.
• As part of the Compliance Team, assist in the daily management of workflows and responsibilities associated with new business acceptance.
• Perform other associated duties and tasks as requested from time to time by the Compliance team or General Counsel.
