Compliance and Risk Analyst

Ameren is seeking a Compliance and Risk Analyst in St. Louis, MO. The role involves conducting audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulations, assessing business and operational risks, and collaborating with management to enhance operations. Candidates should have a strong background in business, with experience in auditing preferred. This is a full-time position.

About The Position

The Auditor II works closely with all levels of management to perform audits of the Company's operations and projects, focusing on those that support strategic initiatives and business plans.

Key responsibilities:
• Conduct financial and operational reviews to evaluate compliance with policies, processes, and controls prescribed by management and applicable regulations (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley)
• Collaborate with management and process owners to identify and evaluate current business, cybersecurity, and operational risks and priorities against the related processes and controls
• Communicate the audit status and findings to key stakeholders and assist management in developing action plans to address the root cause and improve operations

We're looking for someone with a strong educational background in a business-related field, preferably with relevant experience in external or internal auditing.
