About The Role

Airswift are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join their team on a contract basis. Based in the vibrant coastal town of Kwinana Beach, Western Australia, this critical role will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning of a major fuel import terminal. As a specialist in project commissioning and start-up, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the successful launch of this important new venture.

What you'll be doing
• Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans and schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Lead and manage the onsite commissioning team, providing technical guidance and direction
• Liaise with engineering, construction and operations teams to coordinate the commissioning process
• Identify and resolve commissioning issues promptly to minimise delays and disruptions
• Oversee the development of commissioning procedures, methods and standards
• Monitor and report on commissioning progress, identifying and mitigating risks
• Ensure all commissioning activities comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices

What we're looking for
• Proven track record as a Commissioning Manager or equivalent, with at least 8 years' relevant experience
• Extensive experience in the successful commissioning of large-scale manufacturing facilities or similar complex industrial projects
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial processes, systems and equipment
• Excellent project management, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to lead, motivate and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
• Superb communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline
