We are seeking a Solar Electrician to complete (mostly) commercial PV projects in Central and Northern IL. We are looking for an electrician that lives in or near Bloomington, IL that is open to 70% travel within the state of IL (home on most weekends). You must live in IL for this role. We cover lodging and per diem for travel.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Size wiring per NEC code
• Size fuses and circuit breakers per NEC code
• Conduit bending – up to 2 inch
• Install electrical service panels, electric service entrance, and electrical disconnects
• Electrical wiring of solar array (AC and DC).

Job requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years experience as an electrician
• Open to 70% travel within IL
• Ability to work on roofs and in hot sun, cold weather, crawl spaces, flat and sloped roofs, ladders
• Must be organized, self-motivated
• Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs
• Must have excellent communication skills and work well on a team
• Must have a clean driving record, a valid driver’s license, and access to reliable transportation.
• Reside within commuting distance to Bloomington, IL

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
