Primary Purpose:

The Commercial Lighting Technician is a part of Stay-Lite Lighting’s team, a subsidiary of Orion Energy Systems, Inc., to provide quality and dependable Electrical/Lighting Maintenance and Energy Savings Lighting Programs for businesses. This is an independent position that manages customers routes.

Job Highlights:
• Provide on-site lighting and electrical maintenance to ensure scope of work meets work order requirements
• Identify, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair lighting and electrical components
• Perform interior and exterior ballast replacements, underground tracing, and outdoor lighting and sign maintenance and repair to ensure customers’ facilities are 100% operational
• Complete work orders and forms through an electronic device
• Manage customer routes independently and efficiently
• Daily vehicle travel

Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of interior and exterior lighting and electrical experience required
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience in a similar role preferred
• Must successfully pass a DOT physical and criminal background check
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Electrician License is a plus
