The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is hiring twelve part-time, on-call Commercial Fishery Observers for a temporary position from July 1 to December 15, 2025. The roles are based in multiple locations in Western Washington, including Olympia and Stanwood. Observers will gain field experience in fisheries by working with commercial fishing crews, conducting sampling, and processing biological data to support fishery management efforts.
