TransGrid is seeking a Commercial Analyst for the HumeLink project in Sydney, Australia. This role involves providing commercial support for a significant $5 billion energy infrastructure project aimed at enhancing renewable energy delivery. The Opportunity

If you are excited about Australia’s transition to a low carbon future and want to be involved, we invite you to apply for the position of Commercial Analyst working on our Humelink project.

HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission line which will connect Wagga Wagga, Bannaby and Maragle and is one of the state’s largest energy infrastructure projects. This project will deliver a more reliable and more sustainable grid by increasing the amount of renewable energy that can be delivered across the national electricity grid.

This pivotal role plays a crucial part in the success of the $5 billion HumeLink transmission project, one of national significance. It involves providing continuous commercial support to the HumeLink team, working collaboratively with them and business stakeholders to facilitate effective commercial management.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the management and administration of HumeLink Delivery Contracts, as well as conducting detailed analysis, monitoring, and reporting on project costs, productivity, and overall performance.

About you
• Tertiary qualification in finance and accounting, quantity surveying, construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in financial modelling, commercial analysis and/or quantity surveying.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in contract and cost management.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and data manipulation, and in reporting tools such as Power Bi/Tableau
