This is a full-time, 1-year position with a 6-month probationary period, and the potential for extension based on performance and funding availability. The candidate will play a crucial role in project management, field data collection and analysis, and associated reporting. The role offers training in ecological sampling methods (nekton surveys [seine nets, throw traps, underwater video], wetland vegetation monitoring, bivalve surveys, topographical mapping) and sample processing (benthic infauna, sediment, nekton).
