The role involves overseeing financials, implementing policies for efficiency, and engaging in community outreach. Clinic Managers must work on-site and participate in clinical shifts, while maintaining professionalism and ethical standards to ensure quality healthcare delivery.

• Job Title and Overview:
• Clinic Manager.
• Description: The Clinic Manager is responsible for the daily management of a Carbon Health clinic. Managing all operational policies and procedures, clinic financials, patient experience and community outreach with an owner’s mindset, to ensure profitability. A successful clinic manager is intrinsically motivated, challenge-driven, rethinks traditions and genuinely cares about employees and patients.
• Job Responsibilities:
• Overview of responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Overseeing day-to-day operations of the clinic.
• Managing clinic staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and healthcare standards.
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures to optimize clinic efficiency and patient care.
• Handling administrative tasks such as budgeting, inventory management, and reporting.
• Serving as a liaison between clinic staff, physicians, patients, and external stakeholders.
• Resolving conflicts and addressing issues that arise within the clinic.
• Clinic Managers are required to be in the clinic full-time unless attending off-site meetings or community marketing
• Clinic managers are required to participate in one clinical shift as part of their job responsibilities.
• Clinic Managers are expected to work on a rotating “weekend on call” schedule
• Performance Expectations:
• Key performance indicators (KPIs) by which the Clinic Manager's performance will be evaluated. This may include:
• Patient satisfaction ratings.
• Resource: NPS and Google Reviews
• Staff retention rates
• Turnover (voluntary/involuntary)
• Compliance with regulatory requirements.
• UCA Accreditation
• Department of Health Compliance
• Scope of Practice for direct reports (x-ray tech, medical assistant, support staff)
• Operational efficiency metrics
• Door-to-door time
• Call answer rate
• Call intent
• Workplace Health
• Credit Card on File
• Supply Cost per Visit
• Clinic Closures
• Overstaffed Days
• Average Daily Volume (ADV)
• Financial performance (e.g., revenue generation, budget adherence)
• Medical Services EBITDA
• Professional Conduct and Ethics:
• Maintaining professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards is paramount for a clinic manager, ensuring trust, credibility, and quality care in every aspect of their role.
• As a clinic manager, it's crucial to uphold strict confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive patient and organizational information, safeguarding privacy and maintaining trust within the healthcare environment.
