Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Manager for their Climate Risk Consultant team in Boston, MA. This role involves tailoring sustainability offerings for clients, leading project teams, and providing expertise in climate risk and decarbonization. The candidate should be familiar with TCFD and other sustainability frameworks. Responsibilities include client relationship management, project delivery, and contributing to team culture. The position is full-time with no degree requirement mentioned.
We are Guidehouse, a leading consulting firm serving the public sector and commercial clients with specialized capabilities in strategy, technology, and risk management. We offer an exciting, fast-paced environment that fosters intellectual growth and rewards individuals based on impact, not tenure.

Our team – Resilience, ESG, and Disaster Recovery – works with companies and government agencies to promote sustainability objectives, including deep decarbonization, climate resilience, and driving positive social impact. We help clients navigate complex issues such as climate change, regulation, shifting consumer preferences, and the energy transition to implement sustainable operations, processes, and business models.

We apply leading frameworks (e.g., Science-Based Targets, Net-Zero, ESG, and TCFD) and create innovative digital, programmatic, and financial solutions. Our team supports customers in various markets, including financial services, energy providers, life sciences, and government.

This position is targeted specifically for experts on climate risk. The successful candidate must have familiarity with the TCFD framework and other sustainability or climate-related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tailor our decarbonization and sustainability offerings to specific clients
• Provide content expertise and corporate insights on a daily basis
• Lead project teams on engagements in partnership with Directors
• Be active in the delivery of projects (we are looking for team players who roll up their sleeves and work with teams)
• Develop an internal network to pull in resources from across our global team and across market teams
• Build and maintain relationships with clients
• Publish a blog per quarter to keep a strong external profile
• Stay up to date on topics relevant to clients (especially on topics related to specific sectors we serve as well as relevant reporting agencies, frameworks, and regulators)
• Be active on a local or global internal initiative to contribute to the team and culture; be a role model for consultants
