About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Climate Change Organizer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our state director and coalition partners to develop and implement campaigns that promote renewable energy, increase energy efficiency, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Key Responsibilities
• Build coalitions with local organizations and stakeholders to advance our mission
• Earn media attention through news conferences and opinion pieces
• Lobby elected officials to pass policies that benefit the environment
• Research and write persuasive campaign materials
• Recruit and manage volunteers, interns, and staff to help achieve our goals
• Run a grassroots campaign office each summer to raise funds and build public support
Requirements
