Climate Change Officer

About the Role

As the Climate Change Officer, you will work closely with the Council's Head of Communities and Climate Change. Your mission will be to spearhead and continuously enhance our strategies for addressing climate change and promoting biodiversity.,
Responsibilities
• Lead the development and implementation of the Council's climate change and biodiversity initiatives.
• Collaborate with various Council services and key partners, including community groups, businesses, and other stakeholders.
• Drive forward innovative solutions and projects that support our sustainability goals.
Qualifications
• Deep understanding of climate change, sustainability, and biodiversity.
• Proven experience in policy and strategy development.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and effectively.
