Climate Change Consultant

NSB Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for Climate Change Consultant to join a highly mission-led boutique sustainability consultancy with an international portfolio of prestigious projects.

You'll be instrumental in supporting clients in strategic climate change path-setting as well as technical and process support. You'll be a generalist but with enough technical expertise to work with experts and to directly contribute to service offerings spanning greenhouse gas measurement and management, strategy development and planning, organisational development and implementation support, to reporting and engagement.

Location - Home-based/ fully remote with regular travel.

Ideally You Will Have the Following
• Based either in South Africa, the United Kingdom or Europe.
• 3 – 8 years of climate change-specific experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher. Preference will be given to multi-disciplinary degrees, interesting combinations, or degrees directly relevant to climate change (environmental and other sciences, development economics, environmental engineering, anthropology, etc.)
• Skills such as carbon foot printing/accounting, GHG, ESG data, environmental impact assessments and GIS.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced consultancy environment and workload & comfortable with virtual communications.
• High-level professional writing skills (for report and project writing) & Ability to translate complex and complicated technical information into compelling narratives.
• English-speaking is a must, & ideally a fluency in either Spanish, Portuguese or Italian.
