The Opportunity

This Environmental Air Analyst role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our commitment to environmental sustainability. As an integral part of our US Environment team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Your technical expertise will help evaluate and report air emissions, preparing government-mandated air compliance reporting and collaborating with stakeholders to identify and assess air emissions risks and policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical expertise in evaluating and reporting air emissions to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Prepare government-mandated air compliance reporting of emission sources, permit applications, and emissions inventories
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and assess air emissions risks and policies
- Commission and oversee consultant work for air emissions, modeling, permit application, emerging issues, risk assessment, and regulatory mitigation strategies
- Manage projects, schedules, and budgets as necessary

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental sciences, computer science, or related fields with a focus on climate change and air emissions
- Minimum 6 years' experience in managing environmental planning and air permitting for transmission pipelines, storage facilities, and other energy projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of environmental laws and regulations practices, including the Clean Air Act pertaining to the pipeline transmission and storage sector
- Experience and knowledge of environmental information management systems, including CEDRI, SLEIS, or others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)
- Knowledge and ability to run queries against data using SQL and Power BI (or similar tools)
